Lambeth HarvestFest Parade, September 6, 2003

The presentation of the retired racing Greyhound at the HarvestFest Parade in Lambeth (now a "suburb" of London) today Sept. 6th. was organized by Mike Stevenson.

About 30 greyhounds marched in the parade, delighting the crowds. Later we all went to the McFarlane and Roberts Funeral Home in Lambeth (which mike manages) for an open house and prize raffle which raised a little cash for GRA and raised a lot of interest in adopting greyhounds.

Prominent among the visitors were Laila and David Barber, owned by Quix. They aquired their greyhound after seeing them in last year's parade and open house.
